Apparently hanging out with Justin Bieber isn’t going to make you look any cooler in Mexico. According to The Huffington Post, Mexico’s president has denied a tweet by Justin Bieber that said he met the president and his family prior to a show. It’s fitting there is at least some controversy in Mexico because Bieber has had a newsworthy story (and all of which haven’t been good) at each stop in his South/Latin American tour. According to reports Bieber tweeted the following:
“just met some amazing mexican beliebers and the presidente of mexico and his familia.”
President Enrique Pena Nieto’s office put out a tweet early this week that replied – “@Presidenciamx denies meeting between President @EPN with the singer @justinbieber.” Thanks for playing Biebs. As it stands today, Bieber faces two criminal complaints and a demand for refunds in Argentina as well as being in trouble with police in Brazil for allegedly spraying graffiti. I suppose being dissed by the president of Mexico is a rather mild story compared to the other ones. At least now we know where Bieber stands in Mexico.
